The Ghost Monkeys began their "life" one summer day at the Assiniboine Park Zoo. Our two Artistic Directors as well as some of their friends were walking by the Monkey cages, and saw one little monkey run around the cage with a blanket over his head. At that moment, Vicki pointed at the Monkey and yelled "Look! It's a Ghost Monkey." Then later that day while at a Boston Pizza, Matthew and Vicki were contemplating submitting a show for the next year's fringe, but they didn't know what to call their company. After some random names that made absolutely no sense (and there were lots of them), Matthew said, "I got it! How about Ghost Monkey Productions?" At that moment Ghost Monkey Productions was born.
